The Myers family had a long association with this church.
Rev John Myers (1764-1831) was Rector from 1794-1831.
then his cousin's son Rev Charles John Myers (1800-1870) was Rector from 1832-1870 and was also the patron of the living.
Rev Arthur Myers (1846-1916) succeeded his father and was Rector from 1870-1892 when the two medieties were combined after the death of the Vicar, Grover Scarr, in 1873.
Clara Belasyse Myers (Arthur's sister-in-law) continued as patron until her death in 1944 when the patronage was transferred to the Lincoln Diocesan Board.
